These Terms govern your use of MessageHunt — including the mobile app, website
(messagehunt.in), and Creator Portal. By using MessageHunt, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. What MessageHunt is
Explorers use the mobile app to discover and collect real-world
promotional coin drops near their location.
Creators & businesses use the Creator Portal to request promotional
coins and place campaign drops on the map for explorers.
2. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
Creator Portal sign-in uses Google authentication.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be old enough to use the app under applicable store and local rules.
3. Promotional coins & rewards
Portal “coins” / reward points are promotional credits for in-app
campaigns. They are not cash, bank balance, or withdrawable funds.
Buying coins may start as a request or lead. We may contact you to confirm details
before credits are added.
Drops, campaign content, photos, and secret links must be lawful and must not mislead
users, promote illegal activity, or violate others’ rights.
We may refuse, remove, or adjust campaigns, drops, or credits that appear abusive,
fraudulent, or unsafe.
4. Acceptable use
Do not hack, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt MessageHunt.
Do not create fake locations, spoof GPS, or game collection unfairly.
Do not harass others or upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content.
Do not use the service for spam or unauthorized advertising outside approved drops.
5. Location & safety
Core explorer features need location access. Always stay aware of your surroundings
and obey traffic and local laws while hunting.
MessageHunt does not encourage entering private property or unsafe areas to collect drops.
6. Intellectual property
MessageHunt branding, app, and site content belong to MessageHunt / the developer,
except content you upload for your campaigns.
By uploading campaign photos or links, you grant us a license to display them in the
app and portal as needed to run your promotion.
7. Disclaimer & limitation
The service is provided “as is.” Availability, map accuracy, and drop discovery may
vary by device, network, and location permissions.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, MessageHunt is not liable for lost credits,
missed collections, business outcomes, or indirect damages from using the service.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the update.
This Privacy Policy explains what information MessageHunt collects, how we use it, and
your choices. It covers the mobile app, website, and Creator Portal.
1. Information we collect
Account info: name, email, profile photo (for example from Google
sign-in), and account identifiers.
Location data: device location when you use map / hunt features so we
can show nearby drops and verify collection where required.
Campaign & portal data: promotion names, drop locations, point
amounts, optional photos/links, and coin purchase request details (business name,
phone, notes, referral codes).
Usage & device data: basic app/site usage, crash or performance
signals, and technical details needed to keep the service secure.
2. How we use information
Operate accounts, maps, drops, and promotional campaigns
Process creator coin requests and support messages
Show explorer profiles or collection details where the product design requires it
Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law
Contact you about your account, requests, or important service updates
3. Sharing
We use trusted processors such as authentication, hosting/database (e.g. Supabase),
map tile providers, and app stores to run MessageHunt.
Campaign content you publish (banners, links, drop areas) may be visible to explorers
in the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.
4. Location choices
You can turn off location permission in device settings. Core hunting features may not
work without location.
5. Data retention & security
We keep account and campaign data while your account is active and as needed for
operations, support, and legal requirements.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures; no method of transmission or
storage is 100% secure.
6. Children’s privacy
MessageHunt is not directed at children under the minimum age required by applicable
app-store and privacy rules. If you believe a child provided data inappropriately,
contact us to request deletion.
7. Your rights & contact
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal
data we hold about you.
